hello everyone.

so it's taken me just a lil bit to collect enough content to get this thread up and running but i believe it's ready at this point and tho nobody will probably actually read this particular post i wanted to state my intention at least for myself haha.

anywhoo i am aiming for this blog to be something like a normal 'lifestyle' blog - with all the martha stewart....esque advice and tips and shit - except for all the weirdos out there.

so like instead of '10 snack ideas for after soccer the kids will love!' posts they'll be more like '10 halloween-themed snack ideas for after school to welcome spring' or some shit. (that was a pretty bad example but you catch my drift.)

so yea that's what i will kinda be aiming for here and would love to hear from anyone who might have requests or suggestions or whatever concerning content so please hit me up if that's you. i promise i won't bite....not too hard anyway! 😜😜

Okay. OKAY. Clicking through those Youtube caches of old Russian animation has given me the eerie sense that 

1. I have seen these before

and

2. I am right on the verge of finding those weird animated movies from my childhood that NO ONE HAS EVER HEARD OF but which haunt the very back of my brain

Something something there’s a white bull and a black bull,  I could draw you a single frame of this but nothing else

Something something salamanders speaking out of the fire and the fire is Hell and even as a kid I had the beauty-horror shivers running down my spine

Something something all of these were weirdly Christian but also very much horrifying fairy tales in the way you don’t find often, I can hum the first lines of a song that was about pride going before a fall but you can imagine how unhelpful Google is with those search terms

Anyone... got anything... from those snippets?

And if you know that, do you also know the equally weird live-action-and-puppetry show (movie?) about the magic flute and the boat with eyes and the kid’s bear friend at one point was tied to a stake and going to be roasted and eaten by the witch characters IT’S NOT CANDLE COVE, THIS WAS AN ACTUAL THING, I PROMISE
