I just want to mention that it would be a great entry for a force sensitive Hux fanfiction. When something just snap in him and he just hits Kylo with double of Ren's force, raw, untrained force. And Kylo's brains just go blank and he ends up staring at Hux genuinely terrified.

My incredibly. Abhorrently. Awfully late gift to the wonderful @justdreamingzzz ! I'm so sorry it took so long, ended up needing some pinch hitters after the deadline and thought it would be too late to ask the many awesome pinch hitters that volunteered.

I do hope you can forgive me! I tried fulfilling your Roleswap prompt as best as I could! I always pictured that Snoke would use Hux as more of an assassin than a tank. Which definitely influenced me to see them as playing similar roles that Ventress and Grievous played for Count Dooku. So when I remembered this scene I just had to draw them in it!

Kylo is disillusioned with the republic and bitter at how his parents have failed not only the galaxy, but him specifically. However since his force abilities are incredibly faint, relegated to mostly help him manipulate people, faster reflexes and sensing emotions, useful, but not powerful enough to consider extra attention from his uncle, who still looks at him with fear in his eyes. An ear pressed against a door and a hushed conversation telling him his uncle is happy at how weak he is, considering he reminds him so much of his grandfather.

This series of events, accompanied by strange dreams about a voice telling him he can be useful, can make a difference, can be respected and wanted, have him defect to the First Order. He finds the voice in his dream to be the enigmatic Supreme Leader, a man who sees the talent, strength and intellect he has, and wishes to use it to better the galaxy. Whether it wants it or not.

Years later, after having risen through the ranks and proven all of the old guard exactly why the Supreme Leader not only made him the youngest general in the Order's history, but his right hand man, he is awarded his first command in the Finlaizer.

It is also there that he finds out Snoke's second hand also exists. An assassin, blessed not only with the force, but a strong intellect and cunning to rival his own.

Hux is well aware that people referred to his mother as a witch. Brendol would regularly use that word to describe her to little Armitage, who came to associate the words ‘witch’ and ‘magic’ with the caring and loving nature of his mother.

But what the Arkanis people saw as ‘magic’ is actually the Force. So what Hux describes as his ‘strong gut feeling’ is actually a low-level Force ability. With the right training, he could unlock his full potential and become the prophesied warlock of Arkanis.

Kylo doesn’t know this. Snoke does.

I really loved this beautiful Fanart of the polyamorous ship of Reylux from Star Wars of the characters of Armitage Hux, Ben Solo Skywalker (Kylo Ren) and Rey Skywalker (Palpatine) together but also because especially even though I am a fan of the ships of Kylux, Reyux and Reylo at the same time I also love this beautiful ship of the 3 together and above all because I really love that in it we see that in the Hux he was holding his beloved Rey's hand at the same time that he sees how she and Ben are lying down at the same time that he makes a gesture not to make noise when she discovers it there with them 2 and above all alive with The Resistance but also and above all because I would have really loved that Hux and Ben had been saved and survived but also that they had left with Rey with The Resistance but I would also have liked the idea that Hux would have been a Force Sensitive just like his beloved Rey and Ben and also because every time I think of a polyamorous relationship I can only think of Reylux's ship... Yesterday, I told my friend I thought there are a lot of kylux long stories with Hux as a dom, but not so many dom! Kylo fictions.

Maybe I can try?

Duel of the Fates is a perfect background. Chancellor Hux has not only a lightsaber collection but also a BDSM sex toys collection. They are all in the chancellor's secret room. Hux wants to rule and be ruled at the same time. The common ground of this conflict is he wants attention, he wants someone to care about him.

Hux knows he is a little bit Force-sensitive. So he ties himself up with cuffs or ropes and tries to use the Force to untie them. He never succeed. Of course, he has backups. He uses a time locking system to make sure he can escape before his meetings and shifts. He likes the feeling of helplessness. So, one day, before a very important conference, he ties himself and images it's his dom who leaves him there. The system goes wrong, he can't break free. The only choice is he call for help or use the Force.

The Supreme Leader Ren feels frustrated because he can't find his top general plus chancellor. Suddenly, he feels an abnormal vibe in the Force.

That's how Kylo finds Hux's two secrets on the same day.

He’s falling. His lungs ache, his head hurts and all he can see is darkness. This is it, he thinks. The darkness consumes him. It feels oddly warm in the cold water and Armitage supposes that death can be comforting. He lets the darkness take him. It pulls him further and further down, sinking to endless depths.

But the darkness isn’t endless for he can see the bottom, a steady red glowing light and when he realises that it’s emanating from not one but two lightsabers, Armitage begins to panic. He knows the figure holding those blades. He knows what he will find.
