#forced bed sharing

This picture screams forced bed-sharing in a rustic cottage with flowery curtains. The only thing I can't decide is which pairing...

Because imagine Bucky chortling when Tony grumbles about the place looking like the room of an old married couple.

Then imagine Steve and Bucky cuddling, no complaints, because they are an old married couple at heart.

Or Loki rolling his eyes while Peter webs himself up on the beams.

Or Bruce settling in all comfy, then turning into the Hulk when Thor brings the cottage down on them by swinging himself on the lowest beam.

Or Tony shaking his head and saying no with an adamant expression, while secretly buying the place on his phone hidden under the table when Peter starts gushing about how gorgeous it is.

So many potentials...

Number 9, Darcy and Remy LeBeau? pretty pretty please?

“Your feet are on my side again.”

Darcy suddenly felt breath shifting the hair on the back of her neck, apparently that wasn’t the only part of Remy on her side.

“That they are, mon amour. That they are.”

She angled her head to see his pleased face just a few inches away. 

“Remy.”

“Yes?”

She let out a long sigh, rolling onto her back and shifting a bit away from his body that had been emanating warmth very distractingly since she’d wound up next to him.

“We agreed we were going to be adult about this.”

He chuckled, his breath now fanning over her face. She could smell the toothpaste he’d used and forced herself to count to ten. Then twenty.

“I was thinking we could be very adult about this.”

“Ugh. You’re on my side of the bed Remy. My side.”

He let out another infuriating chuckle.

“Yes, and you’ve done nothing about it.”

Her eyes flew to his face. The pleased smile was still there but it held a question as well.

“You have said I’m on your side. You have complained about my presence.” He paused. “But you haven’t asked me to stop.”

She stared at him silently.

“Ask me to stop, cher. If that’s what you want.”

Darcy continued to stare for a moment, before flopping over, turning her back to him with a loud groan.

And there was that damn chuckle again.

“Thought so.” The bed creaked as he shifted back to his side and settled.“‘Night, Darcy.”

She let out a harrumph, pulling a pillow closer to her chest and hugging it tight, ignoring something that certainly felt like disappointment.
