Silly Game Time: Bringing back a crowd favorite! In a bizarre twist, you are being forced at gunpoint to go to a cosplaying convention ... But you're also being given all the money and supplies and expert crafting help you need to prepare whichever costume your heart desires. Yay, I guess?
Anyway, let us not focus on the inscrutable motivations of your benefactors(?). Let us instead focus on your costume! Who/What are you dressing as?
Just a general cosplay con, huh? Ofc I'm gonna go as something outlandishly difficult to make a costume for, just to spite my benefactor/captor. So it's gotta be either some sort of alien/monster or a robot/mech/power armor. I'm leaning more towards monster, since the ladder would have much more predictable and flat components, and I feel is just generally more common, and therefore experts would have plenty of experience making. Now that said, the costume still has to be possible to make, so I can't exactly make an accurate recreation of the monster from Carrion, but something like a Xenomorph from Alien would be too easy and cheap to make. Something like a Halo hunter could be good purely because of the amount of material that would be necessary? Plus it would be pretty big and I might need some sort of frame to properly maneuver in it.
Final answer: a pseudogiant from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Big, ugly, full of unnecessary and impractical details and parts, I love them.
