November 1, 2021 - Forest Robin or Orange-throated Forest Robin (Stiphrornis erythrothorax)
Found in parts of western and central Africa, these Old World flycatchers inhabit the understories of lowland forests. Foraging on or near the ground in dense vegetation, they eat insects and their larvae. They build open cup-shaped nests from moss, bark, dry leaves, stems, rootlets, and other materials, often in tree roots.
