Helloooo!!! So I have no idea if you take requests or not but if you do can I request the hxh main four with an S/O with adhd and one day they forget their meds and for like the whole day their super hyper and filled with butterfly’s and rainbows lmao. PLATONIC MAIN FOUR HXH ADHD S/O FORGETS MEDS AND THE DAY IS BUTTERFLIES AND RAINBOWS

GON: Little ray of hyper sunshine too. You're more hyper and happy than usual so he's excited and asks if anything special happened. You spend the day running around and having fun! His world if usually full of butterflies and rainbows. He might take you to his favorite spot to climb trees! Or play tag! Maybe have a food fight with Killua too.

KILLUA: Knows right away but decides its okay as long as you aren't sick. He's so happy and tries to get you to do fun things with him. He loves playing video games and wants to challenge you. Maybe have a few funs or a game of tag too!

KURAPIKA: Another one who realizes quickly. He will ask and depending on your answer he either has you take them or decides to have a day off fun. He loves cooking, and he’s pretty good at it if he know the ingredients. The two of you would make so many cookies! He wants to share some with his friends. You suggest a little gathering with him and his friends. He can’t say no.

LEORIO: The man is just as happy as you are. He does wonder why you’re so hyper but doesn’t want to ask because it would seem mean. Decides to take you to a little park he knows because it’s always full of energy and you could catch butterflies too. He’ll remind you to take your meds when you get home.

I forgot to take my meds for three days in a row (because sometimes I am the worst) and I finally took my dose today and in an hour I felt like 200% more alive and capable of doing things.

Hey, so I have to take this pill every 12 hours but I almost always forget to take it and I was wondering what's best to do in this situation. Do I skip it and wait until the next 12 hrs or do I take it and wait 12 hrs or for example: I had to take it at 7am but I took it at 11am is it best to take it again at 7pm or 11pm? I'm sorry if this is confusing I just get kinda anxious if I don't take it at the right time. -sea of sound-

Hey there sea of sound,

I think the best thing for you to do is to contact your doctor and see what they suggest is best. Normally it is advised that if you miss a dose, you leave that one and carry on with the next one, however if you have taken one at 11am, I think you should wait 12 hours before you take another one rather than taking it early. With medication it is important to get into a routine and to take them at regular intervals when the prescription advises, so I think what you should do is either go and see your doctor, or call them and ask for a phone consultation and ask for advice from your doctor what to do in these situations. If you can't get hold of your doctor easily you could pop into your local chemist or pharmacy- or find their number on google and call them and ask what you should do- because they normally are capable of administering and giving advice on prescription drugs.

Once you get it sorted I think it would be a good idea for you to set reminders for you to take your pill. Maybe set a phone alarm to go off at the time you are supposed to take it? I think that could be a good idea. Or you could have a little post-it type note stuck somewhere you can see it, maybe near your bed or something, or you could write it on your hand if you are going out- to remind you to take your pill at that certain time.

fuckfuckfuckfuck i forgot to take my meds this morning AGAIN and now my panic is growing solidly and there's nothing to make it even a little less horrible.. fuckfuckfuckfuck

I have an emergency: I'm at a conference and I've left my concerta at home. Is there any thing I can do, short of buying more, which isn't a possibility, to manage my symptoms?

If coffee helps you focus etc. drink lots of it while you’re there. (If it doesn’t help, obviously don’t do that.)

Try to take lots of movement breaks. I don’t know what kind of conference (Dragon Con is on this weekend, isn’t it?) but if you’re in a panel you can sit near the back on the end of an aisle and stand up periodically without disturbing anyone else.

If you have a cellphone or iPod with mindless games on it you can play those to keep your hands occupied.

See if you can lay hands on some fiddly stuff, like Play-Doh or a Koosh ball.

Try to go to bed early and get plenty of sleep.

Don’t forget to eat!
