Some stories in the Bible are so freaking slept on.
I just got through reading about one of the judges (Ehud) tricking a big fat evil king and then stabbing him in the stomach and the king wetting himself.
Literally that’s what happened.
I can totally be trusted to be normal about the bible
(check out my judas x jesus playlist lol)
jst a thought for my christian/catholic girls, should I start posting bible verses/ Bible studies?
The more I read the Old Testament, the more amazed I am at how much we routinely skip over. It’s all God’s word. So why did it take me so long to be hearing some of these sections? Why I am I stumbling upon these beautiful passages that should be the center of amazing sermons, and yet they never see the light of day? So much of what Jesus said is built upon layers and layers of these Old Testament stories, and we somehow never seem to get much past the biggest of the stories. I get that it’s long, but man, we need more Old Testament literacy.
James 1:12
Blessed Is The Man Who Remains Steadfast Under Trial For When He Has Stood The Test He Will Receive The Crown Of Life Which God Has Promised Those Who Love Him.
