Starrie's Intro

You can call me Starrie. I am an adult. I have been a born-again Christian for quite few years now. I am an ex-baby witch/agnostic/atheist (I went through a lot of phases), and I had religious trauma from both Christians/Jews growing up. I decided to work through my issues and go back to God. I am a part of the lgbtq+/neurodivergent/mental illness communities. I just wanted to spread the message of the Gospel because, as Christians, that is what our Lord and Savior Jesus calls us to do in the Bible.

Christianity was NEVER about closed practices. That is why I love it so much! God wanted to open Himself up to all people to receive salvation. That is what true Christianity is. I see them in our communities sometimes. God would not agree with what you are doing to others. ♡ When I post a charity, I will verify that it is legitimate myself. Once I do, I will either post it or block/report you. There are a lot of scammers on Tumblr, and I do not want any of you to be victims of that. It's truly unfortunate we live in a world with people who do that and that I have to say this.

♡ Don't rage on me for not putting the artist in the post if it doesn't have a signature. That is incredibly annoying to do to people. I do not get any of the art I post from Tumblr at all, so it makes it difficult to track. Sometimes, it is hard to find the artist because they are obscure, they closed their account, a bunch of people have reposted it on every platform, etc. Trust me, I have tried before, and many have taken me on a wild goose chase just to find one account! You can see how that can get exhausting/stressful for someone to do. If you are so inclined to find the artist (if it doesn't have a signature), save the image, put the image in Google, and reverse image search. You are free to go on a wild goose chase yourself if you are that interested in any of the art/artists! None of the art is mine. All credit goes to the original artist, whoever they are with or without the signature! Unless I post my own art and say that it is mine, it will never be mine!

♡ I do not encourage forcefully converting people or pressuring people to become a Christian. I also hated when people pressured me to believe in God in my past, and it pushed me further away. So, I know exactly how that feels! Remember that it is incredibly disrespectful to God's own will, which was giving people free will to choose. We are also supposed to let people have free will to choose. If you are interested in Christianity or not, that is ok! That is fully up to you!

♡📖Starrie's Bible Ramblings📖♡

So I am making my way through Romans, right?

(Paul wrote the Book of Romans to the Christian church in Rome. It is to both Jewish and Gentile believers.)

Paul truly hits the nail straight on the head when he says this (Romans 2:17-24):

Now you, if you call yourself a Jew; if you rely on the law and boast in God; if you know his will and approve of what is superior because you are instructed by the law; if you are convinced that you are a guide for the blind, a light for those who are in the dark, an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of little children, because you have in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth you, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal? You who say that people should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law? As it is written:

“God’s name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.”

This line really hit me as it applies to ALL believers in God (not just Jews). I love how Paul directly calls those people out! It reminds me of certain "Christians" who do evil in the name of God. Then come into the community and boast about how righteous they are. It makes God and other Christians who are genuinely good people/worship God to the best of their abilities look bad to others outside of the Abrahamic religions. Then they start hating God.

⚖️Signs of the End Times ⚖️

Today, through the Holy Spirit, I felt inflamed, so share this with you out of love and concern for your safety. ❤️🔥🕊

For the past few years, especially when 2024 hit the Holy Spirit, it kept telling me to get ready.

Now more than ever, I am seeing the signs of the end times. This is a warning to get your house in order. Jesus instructed His followers to remain vigilant, alert, and prepared for the end times and His return.

It is about to get very bad. We are nearing the 7 year tribulation.

We have been through a lot in the past few months with all of the things in the world going on (especially with the Iran war situation that just started last week). I just wanted to say take care of yourself and give yourself time to rest. Your mind needs time to process and heal itself.

No matter who you are or what you believe in, please love each other and help each other out through times like these!

🍃Happy Ash Wednesday🍃

For those of you who do not practice Ash Wednesday, here is what it is:

Christians celebrate Lent as a 40 day season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving in preparation for Easter. This mirrors 40 days Jesus spent fasting in the wilderness before He faced Satan. It is a time for reflection, repentance, and self-denial. This allows believers to focus on Jesus' sacrifice and strengthen their relationship with God.

You might see Christians with ashes on their head from a service that day. They are made from burn palms from the last lent season. They represent mortality (We are dust and we will return to the dust) , repentance (ashes signify mourning in the Bible), renewal (just as palms are transformed into dust so are we transformed by Jesus), and Jesus's triumph.🌴

During this time, many Christians do:

1) Fasting/Sacrifice: Giving up luxuries ( certain foods, entertainment, social media, etc.) to break reliance on worldly things and focus on God.

2) Prayer: Increasing personal prayer/attending church services.

3) Almsgiving: Performing acts of charity and service.

I'm about to rant on Zionism especially since it's on the rise as of late, so I just wanted to share my experiences with that:

I am a Christian blog (this will become relevant in a second), so sometimes I browse through other blogs who like or reblog my content. Some Jewish folk liked my content because I said Happy Hanukkah last year just to be nice/polite because some said Have a Merry Christmas. A lot of them were Zionists/have stuff supporting Zionism on their blogs. I was so shocked and blocked them immediately.

Some Jews who are Zionists expect Christians to align with them on Zionism and that's absolutely not happening! As a Christian, you should be against genocide and every braindead zionist take. You can not be Christian and partake in zionism. Jesus would not approve of that behavior at all, and if you think He would pick up a Bible. (New Testament specifically). Read about what zionist are doing, and please get educated on the subject matter!

(I swear zionists are like those white christian nationalists who claim they are "Christian" in the community. Both are the far-right extremist groups who think that God is going to excuse their behavior towards others. Newsflash He's not God hates wickness. I have also seen Zionists come into our communities on here on posts. Zionists stay out of Christian communities!)

Literally had Jews in a deteratory way called me a goyim/goy growing up and on here. I know that's not the original meaning ,but some Jews definitely use it in a deterogatory/slur manner. That is why those types of words are iffy to so many people. I have heard others say the same thing as me.
