Let’s play: gimme a daemon form based on how you perceive me from my blog!
(Kal and I wanna try new forms!!)
Also how do you guys approach form analyses? What I mean is, when you think about the traits of a certain form, do all of the traits have to match your own personality or do you match some with your daemon’s personality. For example, I am quite quick to anger but Kal tends to be more laidback. If a form is more laidback would it match us? Should a form encompass just traits you exhibit or a combination of traits that you and your dae have?
Analyses Now Updated with Personality Tags!
That way, folks can search for a personaltiy type and have it come up with the analyses it is tagged as! Hopefully now people of a certain MBTI/Enneagram/Hogwarts House/D&D can search to their hearts content and maybe see and understand why a certain form or personality typing does/does not fit them!
Happy personality finding, everyone!
How can a form like a Hoatzin be dutiful but have poor work ethic? Shouldn't that be a contradiction?
I don’t think so at all; it all comes down to the behaviors at hand. Many people can dutifully fulfill or stick to projects or people, while having poor work ethic, which is simply the desire to sit down and work for long periods of time. They may also have poor self-discipline and not do what their mind tells them to do, despite knowing it needs to be done. A lot of people who procrastinate tend to work in bursts or get a lot done in a short amount of time, which allows them to relax before they start working again. For example, though it seems contradictory, I am a person who has poor commitment to projects and high procrastination, but I work hard and I work fast whenever I do sit down and put my mind to something. Just because I put off work doesn’t mean I can’t be active and dutiful, I just tend to get my work done on a different time table than my peers.
Sometimes traits can seem contradictory, but when the traits work together and the behaviors involved are analyzed, a clearer image of a personality can be seen. Many humans are contradictory in nature, so it makes sense that some traits in an analysis seem to be the same way. How those seemingly-contradictory traits work in tandem with each other is what is important, so reading the whole analysis is also important. We always include links to the full analyses for that reason! Never forget to read the author’s reasoning for why they chose the trait that they chose. -w-
