in case anybody is wondering just how rough Netflix's baby reindeer is-
As a survivor of sa/r and drug abuse, those things don't tend to trigger me very much at all in media or discussion anymore
The depiction was so realistic and portrayed so accurately and graphically it's the next day and im still really shaken.
If you have had any issues with sa/r or drug abuse and especially being drugged, please please watch with caution. I have never seen a media representation so realistic and awful and terrifying.
Otherwise the show is extremely well made, very good and well done, but super uncomfortable the whole time and it doesn't get better. It achieves what it's meant to I think, and it does it well.
Trigger warnings
episodes 2, 4, and 6/7 for sxual abuse and straight up on-screen and realistic rpe that is talked about through the rest of the series
