OH i Adore this ask game, theres this brownie recipe i make now that tastes really similar to the ones i made coolkid. he liked them really fudgy. i am very excited to share this recipe actually, i forgot where i got it from but i think it was one of those mom recipe blogs

Ingredients:

10 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 1/4 cups sugar

3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (spooned and leveled)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 large cold eggs

1/2 cup all-purpose flour (spooned and leveled)

2/3 cup chocolate chips (optional, you could add nuts or whatever too)

Steps:

1. Preheat oven to 320°F and prep a 8×8 pan with nonstick cooking spray or butter, i find that lining the bottom with parchment paper makes it easier to clean later

2. Add the butter to a medium-ish saucepan. Place over medium-low heat and cook until the butter melts completely, then turn off the heat.

3. While the butter is hot, stir in the sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt. Stir well until blended. it should look gritty at this point

4. Set the saucepan aside to cool until the mixture is warm to the touch, 5 to 10 minutes is usually good.

5. Add eggs and beat until mixed through

6. Add flour and beat until it looks thick. it should pull away from the sides of the bowl

7. optional additions like chocolate chips

8. Put in prepped pan and bake for 20-30 mins

9. When done, let cool on the stove top. once warm I put it in the fridge
