My Hollyhocks are doing really well!

I am going to be planting these directly into the soil along my front picket fence. They grow 3-8 ft tall, so it could look really pretty. They don't flower until their 2nd year, though.

I need to remember to water at their base to avoid "rust" attacking the leaves.

These are new for me, so I'm crossing my fingers it goes well!

Had fun last night identifying the wildflowers in the yard. No chicory yet, but plenty of hawk weed, clover, and daisies, and a few buttercups! They aren't in full bloom yet so I had to tell the kids to wait to pick any.
