Diana stood among the rubble that was once London, now dubbed New Themyscira. Fires burned, smoke rising up to the ruins of the Palace of Westminster, the streets stained red with victimâs blood, air saturated with the stench of iron. The Queen of the Amazons sheathed her sword, face absent of remorse for the destruction the war had brought to mankind, caught in the crossfire between her people at the Atlanteans. The humans were nothing more than a minor obstacle, it mattered little what became of them in the process of her victory.Â
âMy Queen! Weâve captured whom we believe to be a spy!â Artemis called to Diana, soldiers dragging the person in question, bound and gagged, to her feet.
What are your orders, your highness? Shall we dispose of him?â she asked as she pressed a blade to the prisonerâs throat.
Diana stared down with skeptic eyes, raising her hand to delay punishment,âLet them speak.â In but a moment the gag was removed,âState your business here, human.â she commanded.
