First; for a ruby in the rain;

Rubelin needs someone that she can be honest to all the time, someone that she’s so connected with that she doesn’t need to worry about pleasing them, because she knows they won’t leave. Almost always this person ends up being Cecora.

Cecora needs acceptance. Something she often lacks from her mother, be it for her career choice, or her sexuality, her mother often shows disappointment and disdain for the person Cecora is.

Victor needs money. This may sound strange, but the person he most loves in the world is his mother, who works three separate jobs to keep them afloat. This puts a lot of stress on the both of them and makes it difficult to continue to foster a relationship which he cares for so much. Really he needs his mother to be happy.

And on to death in bloom!

Persephone needs a real friend, someone who likes her for her. She hasn’t had anyone like that yet and she tries to pretend it’s fine, but it’s not really.

Hades needs recognition, for people to see him for all the good that he does instead of how his job seems grim. He needs people to see that he is charming and kind and quick witted, that he cares for those within his kingdom. So far the only person that sees this is Thanatos.

Thanatos already has all that he needs, he is completely content. At times though he does need Persephone to shut up and give him his space, though he does like how she revered him as wise and all knowing.
