Joyful kitsune no yomeiri (fox wedding procession) for this black based houmongi.

Sketch "FOX WEDDING" (2024)
I started Silent Hill f last night n it made me want to draw fox spirits again! That's when I remembered I have this sketch of a "kitsune no yomeiri"/fox wedding from last year.🦊💍 It's part of a series of paintings exploring sunshowers and their relation to multiple types of supernatural weddings. You can read more about this piece and the other paintings I sketched here on my Patreon post.
Mikus of my life, Day 2 - The Fox’s Wedding
Can you guess the upcoming Mikus?
I think I’ve been shaped by my edgy Vocaloid phase. These songs have a special place in my heart and I have to admit, I miss that style being more popular amongst producers.
Long live lesbian cannibalism
Ps: sorry to everyone who thought it was Close and Open, Demons and the Dead. Also an awesome song
Fox wedding
Kotoyuki Tsuneki- me ( @just-cain )
Hinako Shimizu- @aesthmodeus
This is what's exchanged between hinako and shu during the bad ending cutscene (H is Hinako, S is Shu):
H:いつまでも同じではいられないんだ
S:それは分かってる!
S:でもどうしてそいつなんだ?
S:どうしてだ…...
"doushite soitsu nanda" does not translate to "why do you trust this nobody".
Because hinako is quite literally using her body to prevent fox man from being hurt and communicates to her childhood friend shu that "things won't be the same [for us]" basically... He puts two and two together. And asks her why she chose this guy, or maybe why she's protecting him too ("Why the hell him?"). She responds with "I have a future with him" ('He's the one who will walk with me towards the future' is the literal translation).
She also says "dakedo kotoyuki-san wa watashi to tomoni" (Kotoyuki is with me/we are "together") prior to that line. Tomoni = together. But in English when you say 'we are together' it means something different which is not what the Japanese is trying to convey as she means together as in literally.
'kochira mo fuan datta'
'kochira ni mo kibou wo kanji da'
'This is making me anxious, but I also feel hopeful' she says after communicating how she's basically getting married to fox guy (the 'walking together' line)...
