ao3 not having an algorithm is so refreshing. i love it. i love how it's purely an archive, and you have complete autonomy over what you see. there's no content being fed to you. no ads. it's your choice, and you have to look for what you want, but it's easy to find because of their tagging. it isn't a struggle to share your works, it isn't hard to find what you want because something is tracking what is popular and taking it and turning around then shoving it down your throat. it's so nice to see.
