all the obscure-ish clint barton ships i’ve been introduced to and my thoughts

Peter Quill x Clint Barton (Hawkquill): I actually made this one up in my head after maining them both in Marvel Rivals, but they’re now my OTP… Anyway I will spread propaganda about them whenever I get the chance. Just ask ;) Ami Han x Clint Barton (Foxhawk): Also started shipping them because of Marvel Rivals, more specifically their voiceline together! I feel like they’d be funny together because of the contrast in their personalities, and Clint certainly has a type…hot spy women who could kick his ass. Matt Murdock x Clint Barton (Hawkdevil): One of the less obscure ships, but still! I like this one a lot, and while I feel Matt’s faith could cause issues, I think they’d be good for each other. A lot of angst potential either way. Mantis x Clint Barton (Antennarrow): Gonna be honest, I don’t know the name for this one. I saw this in a TikTok edit, and I think it’d be cute! I think Mantis being able to read minds would keep Clint from bullshitting her, and it would help him acknowledge that he needs help. I also think he’d be really cute with Mantis, honestly. A lot of innocent mischief. Adam Warlock x Clint Barton (Goldenarrow): This one has a similar appeal to Antennarow, I think. I do think Adam would be more blunt with Clint, which may work on him a little better, but I think Clint may hold resentment for Adam’s “perfection”. Stephen Strange x Clint Barton (Strangehawk): Stephen would certainly be more stern with Clint, which would lead to a lot of “I don’t need your help” shenanigans before Clint realizes he keeps coming back to Stephen and therefore probably needs his help. A lot of reluctance and denial, which would make for some fun angst as well. Emma Frost x Clint Barton (Diamondhawk): I just saw this one in another post and honestly…I see it. The dichotomy between Emma being so hoity-toity and Clint being so..,well, Clint would be fun. Very much “elegant woman and her wet dog”. I think it could be cute! Or really toxic. Who knows.
