Name: Goblin/Jargbull
Classification: Social Petty Pimps | Trollish Creature / Category: Anthropoviridis-Malitiosus
Size: Small, slender
Habitat: Caves, Darklands, abandoned structures
Danger: High in groups, medium alone
Goblins are found wherever the light doesn't reach. Quick, cunning, vicious, and above all, organized. They constitute one of the main labor forces of evil peoples.
Goblins have small bodies and long, spindly limbs. They have long, clawed fingers.
• Greenish or blue skin, pale for Blood Goblins
• Large ears, useful for hearing anything
• Bright, night-vision eyes
• Hunched back, ready to pounce at any moment
• Thin, sharp teeth
They mostly move on all fours, run by hopping, and can even easily climb walls and ceilings.
They are:
• inherently malevolent
• highly intelligent in groups
• cowardly when alone
• organized into a hierarchical pack
• obsessed with revenge
Each goblin clan has a leader: an individual they call Fragwa. When Fragwa dies, another immediately takes his place.
They speak their own language, like the Gnomes. However, they can understand what is said to them, and some can even speak our language.
Their famous "Waka-Chaka," which can be literally translated as "He will be avenged," is easily recognizable. If you hear it, you'd better run fast. Very fast.
Since the Gumm-Gumms realized that swapping human and troll babies themselves was becoming complicated, the goblins now handle the abductions.
They also take care of guarding and protecting the changelings' familiars in the Darklands nursery. After all, a changeling that can't transform is a useless changeling.
---
• Gnomes and goblins share a common ancestor.
• Blood Goblins were born from a mutation caused by certain goblins living in the Darklands.
• While it's usually the goblins' job to erase the changelings' tracks, they aren't exactly discreet when it comes to committing their own misdeeds.
• They are the very definition of "strength in numbers."
What were the Young Trollhunters doing while their parents were fighting Morgana? Well, someone had to take care of the normal Trollhunting duties! How were they to know what was going on and just how serious it was?
I’m not sure if I’ll get the next chapter done before Novella November so I figured that I would post this now that it’s done.
Jimtober day 5: Goblins!
I'd found this silly little base art a while back and it just screamed Jim. It had to be done! And then I went overboard... lol
We needed more hijinks
Strickler paid Fragwa to make this.
Oh my gosh @bluheaven-adw . I might just have made the goblins at Jim’s house canon in the #What If ToA Rott rewrite -
