He has a certain affinity for keeping his hands wrapped around your throat. The feeling of your heart thumping under his worn fingers, knowing he could squeeze just hard enough to end you, holding your life just under the pads of his finger tips.
Makes him feel like God. The feeling rushing through his veins is nothing short of divinely made. He could crush your windpipe into your throat and watch you as you choke on your blood, clawing at him for help. He'd be the last thing you'd see before you succumb to death's violent embrace.
Yet, he doesn't. Despite his wish to see you under his mercy. despite how he wants to eat you whole like some rabid dog. despite how he wants to make you devote everything to him. No, not the church- and the flock that follows his words- Only him.
He's such a merciful God, isn't he? Such restraint is thanked, prayed for, even.
He'll make you see true religion. True belief of a higher power. True, blind faith in him and no other useless God who doesn't hear your prayers.
You'll worship him, even if he has to suffocate you fully to do so. Even if you know nothing but him. Even if you won't know where you start and he ends.
His guidance and pure light should be only thing you follow.
You'll see you've been straying away from the path of God.
