I got her used off eBay so she's missing her wings but I'll figure that out. Does anyone that owns this doll use a special stand for her? I find she struggles a bit to stand on her own

Yo, I need to share some doll stuff! It's a rainy, gloomy day, I'm exhausted from taking care of the bro last night, time to be self indulgent and tell you about some pretty ladies.

This, my friends, is one of my favorite Monster High characters, Gooliope Jellington. She's a circus performer from the Freak Du Chic episodes of the show, and the line she comes from is super awesome! I never thought I'd find her for a reasonable price, and other than a stand, all she's missing is an earring. An easy fix if I wanna get sculpting. I love her palette and design so much, and now that she's clean, I just find myself wanting to hug her every chance I get. As you can see, she's much bigger than the other dolls I have. I think I wanna redo her face and recurl her hair, but she'll be left as the same character.

But then came my adventure from last night. I'd never used Facebook marketplace before this year, but sometimes I troll around just to see what's up. Last night I discovered this fully in tact Scarah Screams super cheap! This doll is interesting, she's part of the Freaky Fusions line as part of the four monsters that are "fusion inspired." Instead of being characters from the film the line is based on, these are more of characters with looks inspired by other characters. In this case, Scarah is dressed like Toralei Stripes, a werecat known for causing trouble. I love her little ears and tail, and the outfit is so cute! So on a whim, I drove into a church parking lot in the dark to pick her up. Probably not doing that again, it was a little freaky and I feared for my life just a tad.

On the plus side, now both of them are all clean!

so for october i made my own inktober styled thing again. planned this way back in early september. the months theme is fuseing two types of monsters or things that could be considered scary together .

In 2014, MATTEL launches a “Freaky Fusion” game on its European sites. You could merge Monster High characters between them (see: the 36 Freaky Fusions), Merge pet animals or create an avatar and merge it with a Monster High character in order to enter a contest. The big winner for each country (England, Germany, France, Spain and Portugal) received from MATTEL the merged doll he had created.

The designer of the game has his own site : << This is a project I did for the advertising agency Lola Mullenlowe. They wanted to develop a digital game for Freaky Fusion, a new Monster High (Mattel) film. The idea was to create a virtual laboratory where players could create and design their own dolls — physical appearance, costumes, jewelry and other aspects — and fuse them with original characters from the series.
