Listen, I know that Danville is actually quite a big city (looking at the fact that there are literal skyscrapers in the centre) and also that Hamster and Gretel isn't even happening in Danville but some other city in the tristate area but let me bring out a new headcanon: Danville is actually a little town, the type where there's only one highschool that everyone went to and when you go there all your teachers know past five generations of your family and generally everyone knows everyone:
Monty and Fred were best friends during the time they attended the only acrobatics school nearby, however they lost contact after she left the school. Vanessa sometimes reminds Monty of his past best friend.
Kevin wanting to learn to play guitar found out that this guy from another class, Jeremy Johnson, makes money on the side by giving guitar lessons and he signed up. With time, they became friends and would sometimes hang out together, more often than not bringing their younger sisters along.
Gretel, however, isn't happy about that. She's terrified of Suzie. Suzie isn't dumb like everyone in Danville is apparently, and she quickly figured out that little girl named Gretel, who has a pet hamster named Hamster, is, in fact, the Gretel. She has swore to herself to reveal the identity of the local hero to the citizens of danville.
All the outings where Gretel and Suzie are present end with absolute chaos, and Gretel telling Kevin that Suzie is a supervillain. He, of course, does not believe that because come on, Gretel, you have fought actual villains and literal monsters, and now you are scared of a little girl?
Jeremy often talks to Kevin about his girlfriend, and Kevin wonders if he will ever be as lucky as this girl and have someone love him so much
Perry idolises the local hero Hamster a lot. He also feels some kind of sympathy for him. He knows that being a sentient animal who saves the world and not being able to tell your family about that can be hard. Well, at least Hamster has Gretel. Perry wishes he could also tell at least the boys about his identity.
One time, Perry helped Hamster save the day, and Hamster thanked him in english. Perry was never more shocked.
Monogram, however, hates Hamster and Gretel. Well, maybe hate is too strong of a word, but as a head of O.W.C.A. he feels very competitive. He feels that his organisation is unappreciated while the two heroes are basking in glory. Carl and Perry both find it hilarious because, come on, they are secret agents. It's right there in the name.
Sarah and Hiromi are besties since childhood. Sarah often comes to Hiromi's comic shop, and they can spend hours talking about latest releases. Hiromi's manager isn't really happy about that.
Jeremy once took Candace for a date to a concert. How surprised she was to learn that the band "Just Getting Started" are actually her brothers' dorky friends she once saved the world with. Well, at least they play good music.
One time in the summer, Candace thought of a new plan to bust Phineas and Ferb: she invited Milo. The boy's negative probability energy was supposed to keep away the mysterious force from saving her brothers from being busted. Phineas and Ferb thought that it was very considerate of Candace to include Milo, and Milo was very happy to spend some time with his new friends. Just as Linda was about to see the supposed newest contraption of her sons, the whole thing broke down, leaving a huge mess on the ground. The boys did get busted for trashing the garden, and Candace thought that it's the closest she can get and counted it as a win.
The Grant-Gomez family has monthly outings to Vivians' Nosh Olé Mexican-Jewish Café
Candace thinks that Melissa is too cool to be friends with Phineas and Ferb. Melissa thinks that Candace is too cool to be Phineas and Ferb's brothers.
Churro is O.W.C.A's agent. There is no way that this dog is so dumb, he has to be pretending, right?
Gretel loves Phineas and Ferb's inventions. Whenever she hears that they have built another rollercoaster or an elevator to the moon, she's the first in line to try it out. Kevin hates it because she drags him along to them all. There is no way that those kids aren't breaking some safety regulations, so how should he know that he will even come back from that rollercoaster?! He sure thinks it's great to have physics-defying flying powers and not being worried about such things as gravity...
During one of their hang outs at the Flynn-Fletcher's backyard, Kevin noticed their pet platypus sneaking out into a secret lair. Being worried that this might be another villain endangering the city, he decided to follow him, but after discovering that he was, in fact, saving the world from an evil scientist, he decided to drop it. Knowing a sentient hamster himself, he assumed that the platypus must also have been visited by the aliens. Kevin realised then that there may be more superheroes in the world than he thought, some of them simply weren't open about what they do and preferred to stick to the shadows. He decided that this is a secret he will keep to himself and never told even Gretel.
Phineas and Ferb love their local superheroes, Hamster and Gretel. They once built a whole giant statue for them as a thanks for keeping the world safe. Gretel teared up seeing this, but after calling Kevin and dragging him to see it, it mysteriously vanished.
Candace often comes by Hiromi's shop to see if there is any new Ducky Momo merch. She always assures Hiromi that it's because she has little brothers that are obsessed with Ducky Momo, and one of them has a birthday really soon, but Hiromi doubts that Candace has enough brothers to have birthdays like 50 times in a year.
Milo, Melissa and Zack actually love Dr. Doofenshmirtz. Sure, he was really eccentric, but they were never bored with him. Even after D.E.I. was rebuilt, and he moved out of Milo's house, they still visited their weird uncle. Sometimes even Sarah decided to come for dinner. Heinz was really glad about that because, in all honesty, he loves those kids. Even Vanessa accepted the fact that she got a few new cousins.
Melissa started hanging out with Vanessa a bit more. She didn't mind it because Melissa is a good kid. And if anyone noticed that Melissa started to dress in darker colours a bit more and take interest in goth subculture, no one said a thing.
Dakota once told Cavendish that their boss send them on a mission to infiltrate an amusement park that some two boys built in their backyard in the span of one hour, because there is no way that they did it without the help of an alien technology. After a whole day spent in the park, Dakota revealed to Cavendish that there was no call from their boss, and he just made it up so that Cavendish would take a day off and relax.
Sarah was there at the convention on Baljeet's side in "nerds of a feather"
