Gretel Keeps It Reel/ Squeaky Friday Episode Review
I really loved yesterday's episode. As someone who really loves fishing, I already knew I would, and from the beginning, the episode made me want to grab my tackle box and get out on the lake. But really, it wasn't the fishing aspect that I enjoyed, so much as seeing an episode centered on Dave and Gretel’s relationship. I so love getting to see Gretel spending time with her parents. One of my biggest gripes about season 1 was how little involvement Dave and Carolina had. It's honestly why I wish Gretel's parents could be in on her superhero life.
Squeaky Friday. Pretty fun episode. We've got the stereotypical bodybuilder who only works on his upper body (and uses drugs to build his muscles). I remember making a post a while back, humorlessly announcing my belief that Churro was secretly an OWCA agent. Well I take it back. His stupidty is absolutely not a mask. Anyways, it was the very end that fascinated me. That was some interesting power that Gretel unleashed. I have a distinct feeling that this new ability is going to come into play again.
Next week we've got Gran Slam and Art of Deception, the latter is one I'm very much looking forward to.

I've heard people speculate that Dave and Carolina have known about Hamster and Gretel being superheroes all along. Now, assuming this is true, the question is, why do they know? Here's what I think: It's not some big conspiratorial reason.
The parents know because the aliens had to have them sign permission forms before giving their daughter superpowers. The reason Dave and Carolina haven't said anything is because it's funny watching their kids try to keep it a secret. This would be a truly hysterical plot twist.
