(Late) unpopular opinion/hc: Kisumi used to have a huge crush on Makoto in middle school, and when they see each other again (ES) he still does have some lingering feelings especially as Makoto helps his little brother get over his fear of swimming. (They pretty much become non existent in DTTF though when he's with Asahi~)

Is this an unpopular opinion? 😂 but yeah i agree!! I think Makoto was his bisexual awakening! (I think Makoto is everyone's queer awakening lmao)

KisuMako + Makoto took up basketball instead of swimming AU?

Kisumi has to keep himself from laughing out loud at the rival team’s unanimous expression of defeat when Makoto’s shot sinks, officially ending the game with a rather impressive lead in their favor. 

Makoto is the epitome of serene as he turns around to face his celebrating teammates, who greet him with hearty whoops and claps on the back that only make him stumble a little. 

Amidst it all, Kisumi clasps Makoto’s hand in his own and tugs him closer, making sure that his proud smile is all Makoto sees for however long he can manage it.
