Qigong and Dance Jam with music by Cosmic Hue- Sunday morning ceremony honoring the energy within- Moving meditation connecting with qi, dance, and music All are welcome to attend and be a part of this experience and community! Join us for a special morning session of movement, flow, connection and community. We'll start by gathering for an opening circle, in which you may place items on the altar for a blessing. Next we'll flow through a series of Qigong movements taught by Erik Harris, a master of this tradition. We'll touch the Wuji state of oneness, connecting with our true nature. Then dance jam facilitator and contact improvisor Doug Pouliot will facilitate a freeform community movement experience. We'll close again in circle at the end of the morning. Live music for this event will be provided by Cosmic Hue, a duo with Kalidasa Joseph Getter and Craig Norton, two world music specialists and multi-instrumentalists. Their sounds will weave throughout the movements we experience.
