FRESCHETTA® Naturally Rising Crust Canadian Style Bacon & Pineapple Pizza
My Lego-collector friend takes issue with pineapple on pizza. I noted that it helps make the sauce less spicy. She's like, "How is the sauce spicy?!" And I'm like, "I told you, I'm a wuss!"
Amid fridge-failure, I decided to have a frozen pizza tonight. This! This is spicy! It hurts. It's calmed down a lot in the 10 minutes since I've finished eating, but it really did hurt towards the end.
I haven't talked that much with her about my autism diagnosis, but I've mentioned some of my sensitivities. I don't think NT folks will really "get" how much food sensitivities suck until I describe how heartbreaking and discouraging it can be, when I can't manage it well. I'm in a good place now, so I can tackle things like this pizza, even if it hurts for a bit. (I couldn't when I was a kid, and I still don't like tomato sauce on pasta.)
On the bright side, this pizza has a really wonderful crust. I really love this brand. (If I could find Red Baron's mini breakfast pizzas again, I'd have those nearly everyday.)
