This mayo-free broccoli salad is a delightful and healthy alternative to traditional broccoli salads. Packed with the goodness of fresh broccoli, sweet raisins, crunchy sunflower seeds, and a tangy-sweet dressing, it's a perfect side dish for any occasion.
Ingredients: 4 cups broccoli florets. 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped. 1/2 cup raisins. 1/2 cup sunflower seeds. 1/4 cup bacon bits optional. 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar. 2 tablespoons honey. 2 tablespoons olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Put the broccoli florets, red onion, raisins, sunflower seeds, and bacon bits if using in a large bowl and mix them together. Whisk the apple cider vinegar, honey, olive oil, salt, and pepper together in a separate small bowl until everything is well mixed. Pour the dressing over the broccoli and toss it around to cover everything. Put the salad in the fridge for at least 30 minutes with the lid on so the flavors can mix.
