do you guys ever think about how we're definitely going to reach some point of time where a popular mlm ship in a shounen actually get explicit canon romance treatment . and i mean like that staple duo of a shounen story between the two badass main dudes w/ insane chemistry
one day we actually might get mangas that really do pursue that romantic route and full blown shojou it out instead of the standard treatment of being sidelined, being left only with implications (which is ok btw. doesn't reduce the queerness to me at least not all the time), or even being cursed by the forced hetero beam
i'm thinking of it as in like a manga where we are to believe it's just a standard shounen (u get what i mean right) . and then bam the main male lead is actually kissing his guy best friend 150 chapters in after i've been eyeing their queer coding believing it would only be left in coding . only to be jumpscared that that is in fact not true . like wow . like imagine that . wow
