stop giving your protagonist "clumsy" as a flaw if you aren't going to follow through! i don't want to hear about it unless she displays a level of ineptitude only seen in infomercials!!!
#frog croaks#she should drop that plot macguffin#trip going down the stairs during a daring escape and easily recaptured -- jeopardizing the rebellion#in a moment of panic chips the love interest's tooth on her forehead going for a passionate and poorly aimed kiss#and then has to drive them to the emergency dentist#relevance is key when designating a flaw to a character#it's becoming an automatic drop for me. for being so common i rarely see it actually implemented in any tangible way#it's because it's a cutesy way around giving your character a real flaw :)#using she because this is a largely gendered trope#rarely do i see a male protagonist described as clumsy
