I feel like it doesn't fully hit Nick that Judy has protection from the zootopia version of the Italian mob for saving Fru Fru untill the second movie and Mr Big is willing to do anything to help them get into hiding. His Bunny has so many connections and if she was anyone else that would be so bad. But because she's Judy she's so good. And Judy doesn't fully realize that, but Nick does. Nick would have died if it wasn't for his connection to Judy saving him from Mr Big. Because eventually the mob would have caught him.

JUDY: she/her cis aroace bisexual. was mildly interested in the idea of romance as a teen + pressured by her extended family to settle with a partner. bonnie and stu weren't overt with it (unlike gram gram) but that was still the most expected outcome. she's dated some mammals but none of these relationships ever grew into anything meaningful bc it just wasn't what judy truly wanted! her very special connection with nick wasn't anything she's ever felt before, not to mention that their meeting lowkey changed her life forever so yeah you guessed it they've got a secret third queerplatonic thing going on. she's fully indifferent towards sex too. no new babies for the hopps fam!!
