It had been five months since Molly had seen Andromeda. She’d been five months pregnant at that point. Currently she was enormous. Her feet were swollen, she was walking like a penguin and only pickles, sausage and ice cream could cure her hunger.
She and Arthur had finally made it to bed — Arthur putting the boys down so Molly could make her way up the damned staircase she had grown to loathe. As they laid there she placed her head on his shoulder, a comfort that had been there since their days at school. “I can’t believe I have another month of this. And he’s moving around more than any of the others. I love it. It’s a reminder that he’s healthy and strong but, Merlin, I’m so tired,” she let out a sigh. “I love the bugger already but he’s going to be trouble. I can tell. Howlers all over the place.” She let out a small laugh and rubbed her giant stomach.
“I suppose I should try to sleep. If he’ll let me.” She twirled her hand and turned off the lights and leaned toward Arthur. “Love you, my dear,” and gave him a kiss.
She wriggled into the covers, lying on her back and closed her eyes. She lay like that for what felt like an eternity. Arthur was snoring. Lucky bastard.
Then suddenly — she was all wet. Molly shook Arthur awake. “He’s coming Arthur.”

synopsis:
arthur parchment knows that his creative skills are ordinary at best, lackluster at worst, and his fine arts professor won't let him forget it. he can list techniques used by the great masters and recite the complete histories of various works of art, but he struggles with creating something of his own. why he became an art major, why he chases the dreams of an old friend he lost, is beyond him.
in an effort to improve and get his professor off his back, he checks out a skull from the medical lab, hoping that drawing from life is the key to success. he gets a bit more than he bargains for when the skull starts talking, but it gives him the encouragement and praise he so desperately craves, and under it's guidance he begins to make progress.
but then the skull starts demanding a body, a real flesh and blood body, and the campus is sent into a panic because cadavers start to go missing from the labs. arthur begins to find it harder and harder to differentiate between the real and surreal. he's overwhelmed, and he has to wonder: was majoring in art truly worth it?

“Excuse me?” Rianne hesitantly interrupted the man working, with tears in her eyes. “I’m really embarrassed to ask about this but my ring fell off and slid underneath the Pac Man thing an-and...” She sighed and shook her head. It was her grandmother’s, getting it back was of the utmost importance to her. “I’m sorry for bothering you with it, you must think I’m stupid. I’ve already tried getting it myself.” @arthurdstein
where: the burrow / muggle park in london. who: arthur; @arthurxweasleyx.
Arthur's birthday had been last month and the couple had done nothing for it. That could not stand. Molly was disappointed in herself for not celebrating her husband's day but life had been so hectic it seemed like there was no time for anything. There still was no time for anything but Molly would be damned if she didn't do anything for him, even if it was terribly late.
Knowing -- but not know for sure -- that she was pregnant, Molly didn't want to take Arthur to a nice restaurant. She would have to say no to wine and that would raise red flags. She didn't want Arthur to guess if she could help it. She was worried that if it was something else that it would cause more stress so she waited to see Andromeda and left it at that. Since a night out on the town was out of the question, Molly decided to have a candlelit picnic in Arthur's favorite muggle park in London.
She made his favorite meal: shepherd's pie and cold butterbeer. It may seem simple but Arthur was a simple man -- something she loved about him. While making the shepherd's pie Molly had to step out of the kitchen multiple times due to the nausea. She munched on dried, flavorless cereal to help ease her stomach but was able to make her way through cooking the comfort food. Thank Merlin his favorite meal didn't involve seafood.
When Arthur got home, Molly was waiting for him. She was dressed up, hair done just right, rouge on her cheeks and red lipstick donning her lips. "Arthur," she smiled, "Lydia has the kids tonight. it's time to celebrate your birthday. " She held her hand out to him. "Let's apparate, love."

As soon as the promenade was mentioned, Adelaide knew that she would attend. While she had only known Arthur for a little under twenty-four hours, what she did know was that she enjoyed being in his company. A sentiment that she'd never experienced with any other gentleman. Spring in Mayfair, was arguably Adelaide's favourite time of year. The blossoms of new flowers, the greenery. It almost felt like something out of one of her novels; yet instead of it being in her imagination, these were all things she could experience. Adelaide had begun the walk with her brother Albert. As the siblings weren't particularly close, awkward conversation was the only thing that they could talk about. That, or, the fact that he'd been noticed by the Queen. Typical. Still, nothing could dull the excitement that she felt at the prospect of seeing the man that had captured the majority of her thoughts since they had bid farewell on the ballroom floor, the evening prior. It was his eyes that she had noticed first, how familiar they'd become to her in the matter of hours. Despite the bubbling excitement that she felt to actually see him, Adelaide used all of her restraint to continue walking at a normal pace. This was civilised society, after all. "Lord Barnes," she greeted, with a curtsey. Though she'd been given permission to address him by his forename, she did not want her brother to think that she was being overly familiar with him. "It is so good to see you again."
I'm five years old, it's getting cold, I've got my big coat on I hear your laugh and look up smiling at you, I run and run Past the pumpkin patch and the tractor rides Look now, the sky is gold I hug your legs and fall asleep on the way home I don't know why all the trees change in the fall But I know you're not scared of anything at all Don't know if Snow White's house is near or far away But I know I had the best day with you today

slurred words (for arthur)
“Have you seen that man? Have you seen his face? Have you seen his shoulders? Oh, Lord, he’s so- Just- If I had reached out just once- But no, I thought I was hallucinating. A vampire? Hallucinating? And how silly, anyway, to know nothing about a man and still want him to love me? How silly when he- why would he- he won’t. That’s that, I suppose.”
