“Well, that only shows how shitty your vision is” Brooklyn pointed out. “Maybe, but to be fair, I’ve done worse” he added with an amused smirk. “Pas vraiment, on n'est pas en France, Babette” not really, we are not in France, Babette. “We are in the USA, people speak in english here, if you want some french, I suggest Canada” he smirked, a bit proud that he manged to pull that out. Brooklyn was the ‘nerd’ of all the siblings. Declan could not study even if his life depended on it, and Liam was too busy stressing about life to learn a new language. He and Cara were the ones willing to do such thing.
Liam observed that banter between his sibling and Babette. He was entertained, he couldn’t deny that. Sometimes he wondered if he could ever be as entertaining as Brooklyn and sometimes even Declan, but the truth was that Liam was far too serious for that. “Yes” he replied to Babette’s quesiton, nodding in gratitude as she poured him some whiskey and passed him an ashtray. “That would be ideal” he nodded his head.
Babette had proved herself to be very useful. Not only she was keeping her word and helping with the intel they required, but she was also a good employee. Colleen was fascinated with her and she was also very efficient at the bar. They were all keeping a close eye on her though, since they couldn’t be entire sure about it, or maybe it was Liam who was beyond paranoid.
He observed her as she spoke again, a light frown forming on his face but he nodded. “Of course” he said simply as he stood up. He grabbed his glass of whiskey and walked over to the staircase that leaded upstairs, to where his office was. He opened the door for the blonde and let her go in first before following and closed it behind him. “Well? I do not have a lot of time”
