I know I only have like 5 followers but I feel like this’ll help whoever sees:

As a fellow trans guy with unsupportive parents, I need to come up with other ways to at least look somewhat how I want to without making my parents suspicious. In order to overcome this, I came up with a loophole:

Ask for pockets or say you want them.

Pretty much every single pair of women’s shorts and feminine pieces of clothing in general don’t have pockets. Usually, if they do, they’re pretty much a joke. If you mention that you want pockets, good ones, I can guarantee you’ll end up with a more masculine looking clothes, at least with pants. This could also work for jackets and any other clothing where pockets are applicable. Heck, even shirts if you want a button down or something like that.

Hey, idk if you already have something about this on your blog. But do you have any advice for coping with extreme dysphoria when ur on ur period? Especially when u have cramps that hurt like shit and r a constand reminder? (I already took painkillers but the cramps r still there)

Hi there

There are medications such as the contraceptive pill and hormone blockers that cease your monthly. If you are thinking of taking the pill, I would advise you to ask your doctor for a progestogen-only pill as this does not include estrogen. 

There is also hormone blockers that is used to block puberty, often in people who are younger than 12 years old, however some adults are able to undergo this. As you can gather, hormones blockers block your monthly from occurring.

There are smaller things that you can try to help alleviate your monthly pain, however I cannot guarantee that they will work on you. It is suggested to: 

Exercise, such as walking, running or swimming as this helps blood flow to the abdomen, decreasing abdominal cramps. 

Using a hot water bottle (or anything with heat) and placing it onto your lower abdomen. 

Drinking hot tea and going for a hot bath will give you the same effect as the above.

Massaging/rubbing/placing your hand on your lower abdomen will also help to relax the area that is in pain.

My dysphorias been so bad lately I don't know what to do :( I just want to be on t and have top surgery I just want to be a normal guy and not just this gross malformation. I don't think I'll ever pass like this

I am sorry to hear that dysphoria is being very tough right now but there are coping strategies and this may be enough to minimise your dysphoria or cope generally in the long run.

Coping mechanism are used when we are stressed, by ignoring or adapting to our situation using more positive and healthy methods.

Here are some ways you can cope with your dysphoria:

Appearance:

- Makeup

- Workouts

- Physique

- Clothing

- Haircut

Voice:

- Humming

- Singing

- Voice training

Mind:

- Relaxation

- Yoga

- Listening to music/nature sounds

- Unlearning unhelpful thinking

- Positive thoughts

How To Inject Testosterone/Estrogen

I've been doing my inter muscular shot much farther back towards my hips. I can still feel it going through either the tissue or muscle layer and haven't had any hormonal issues, but I had to move it because the mid thigh got so much more sore and I would cry during my shot. Is it normal to explore your entire thigh for sites?

Hi there

I am no doctor, therefore I advise you speak to your doctor about the site you are injecting into and whether this is okay. From what I have read, you are not supposed to be injecting into the site you are injecting into.

As you can see in these multiple diagrams, you are meant to inject into the middle third (highlighted in blue):

You are not injecting into the same leg are you? You are meant to switch between the left and right leg to minimise the pain, decrease the risk of scarring and infection. It is also advised to leave a particular site for about a week until injecting into it again.

Injections are supposed to be quite sore. Here describes some techniques to minimise the pain. In the UK, I get mine administered by a doctor in the buttock area and it is usually a quick pinch. The next day it will be a bit sore but injections should not be making you cry. If you have been injecting into the same leg, then this may be why your leg became more sensitive and prone to pain.

Again though, I advise you to go visit your doctor about this just to make sure.

I'm sorry to bother you, but I wanted to ask if you have any tips on making your voice deeper? Less feminine, to the point where it's deep and raspy and pretty masculine. I've been trying for a while now but I can't seem to find anything to help me. Answer when you can please.

Needing Feedback

So I have been in a kinda bad situation where I have missed my T shot for and been late for the past three times I should have administered, does anyone have any experience with this, I have a few questions and it would be greatly appreciated, my Dr. Can't give me the first hand experience answers that I have questions to.
