May 13th – May 20th is For The World - Global Volunteer Week!
The news might be overwhelmingly bad, but just because it can feel like the world is ending, doesn’t mean it has to. You can make a difference in one person’s life, and we can all do it together! Starting on May 13th, the day the finale airs, Good Omens fans from across the world will be volunteering in their local communities!
Join us!
The Plan:
Volunteer your time between May 13th and May 20th.
Report your hours to us by May 25th in this document and we’ll tally them all up and celebrate the differences we’ve made!
The Guidelines:
Volunteering can be anything from organizing a fundraiser to picking up litter!
Take photos only if it’s appropriate to do so, and ask everyone involved for permission before posting.
This week is not about financial donations, only your time.
Reported hours will be on the honor system. Check back here for details on how to report hours closer to the date.
Already volunteer regularly? We would love to count those hours!
If you want to participate but can’t during these dates, we would still love to hear about it! We will have a “general volunteer hours” count as well.
Some volunteer opportunities may have lengthy onboarding or training processes, or strict minimum hours requirements. Remember to check for this early!

Please let us know if you have more suggestions for volunteering ideas. We would especially like to hear about ideas for people with physical or social limitations that might make more common opportunities difficult!
We would love to make this an annual event but we need your help to do it. Spread the word and use the hashtags #ForTheWorldWeek #ForTheWorldWeek2026
