"Burning Men's Soul" from Persona Trinity Soul is still so fucking funny to me on every level. Like someone must have gone "Well this is a Persona 3 spinoff so we need Lotus Juice right?" and whoever was in charge of the music replied "We've got Lotus Juice at home". And this was the fucking Lotus Juice at Home
Like as much as I love Lotus Juice I can't deny that he's dropped a few questionable lines, but nothing on the level of"I'm in the House Like Carpet". I know the vocals came from a sample CD made by some German company but like come on nobody was making them use this; they could have used literally any other vocal samples or hell decided that terrible German rap just wasn't a necessary addition for their show's OST. Apparently the show never plays the vocals of this song in their entirety during it's runtime so I guess someone knew. Like you have to seek this song out specifically if you want to experience it in its full glory. Absolutely beautiful good work everyone
