What kind of project would you like to see Jesse in next?

Ooh. Literally anything good.

I do think Jay-era PD is very good, despite what I grumbled about its flaws the other day. So I hope he can get something at least as good.

My ultimate would be something character-driven where he gets plenty of screen time. Maybe a limited series? There have been some fantastic ones recently.

As for genre – well there are a lot of genres I like. Drama, witty comedy, post-apocalyptic drama, disaster movies, well done rom-coms/rom-drams, plausible sci-fi, psychological thrillers, character-driven mysteries, character-driven anything really, military drama, good westerns like Yellowstone or Deadwood, good biopics, good musicals (although IDK if he can sing in a normal non-chipmunk voice??), vampires, zombies, period dramas, WHATEVER.

And of course cop/rescue/medical shows, but I'd like to see him in something different now.

As long as he doesn't play a sleazeball. I hate sleazeballs.

But hey. You're talking to someone who watched more than one of Alexander Skarsgård's Swedish movies IN Swedish WITHOUT subtitles because I adored him then as much as I adore Jesse now.

I'll watch him in anything.

Okay but since we're all obsessed about the man's potential next role(s), does anybody remember the Montblanc ad that gave us these gems:

The highlights for me are:

1. The Passage, because Lieutenant Jake Barnes would definitely fuck me up real bad

2. Clone Alone, because what kind of fucking oddballs Noughties nightmare would that even be (and also would Nelly play herself in it?)

3. Whatever unmistakably gay ass shit Let It Out is, it's not too early for a musical, just do it pal

4. Villains Will Rise, because that futuristic buzzcut reminds me of Jonny's haircut in Doctor Who and that was a whole journey for me tbh

It’s time for Jensen to start playing a father. Man is about to be 44 and has yet to play his age.

I really don't know what his situation is parenting-wise, but I do hope, especially since he's between filming jobs, that he's getting to spend a lot of time with his kids.

Edited because I totally misread the post! A TV Dad would definitely be right for his age.

I watched it, and the movie is good. Not one of his bests, but it’s watchable // see I feel the opposite. I thought the movie was pretty bad but Chris was actually really good in it. Easily the best part of the film and it's one of his best performances, imo. That crying scene with his mom always gets me 😭. I'd love to see him do period films or biopics. I'm also a sucker for psychological thrillers and horror, and I don't think he's done much in these genres, so they'd be good for him.

Mann, I'd love to see him doing horror (a good one actually). He's never done that genre and those are my type of movies. So please, universe

I’d like to see him play another character similar to Jake Jensen. He was so good in that role. I think he does charming and funny really well.
