Anticipated plastic and metal replacement parts for the body. Scienza e vita. November 1954. Internet Archive.
People are afraid that humans will discover how to stop dying and they’ll “break nature” but if a gen z sciencist actually found the secret to immortality it would be yote out the window in seconds like bitch we don’t wanna live forever

In order to give this piece some authority, I read up on technical uses of FORTRAN, the early computer programming language. Although updated repeatedly since the 1960s, it continues to be in use today -- simply as “Fortran.” Here, the functions would be those which might have captured the imagination of a mysterious, notebook-doodling, 6-year-old genius who is eager to rid the Earth of chalk dust clouds and aerodynamically-unsound scooters.

* This is a picture📸 of Mars taken by the UAE's Al-Amal spacecraft. The big red hill on the left is Olympus Mons, the biggest volcano in our solar system. It's about 26 kilometers tall! This photo was taken on November 22, 2021, and the volcano last erupted millions of years ago.

There's an unrecognisable but delicious smell in the stairwell and it's driving me up the wall!
