Disclaimer: Futurekin is already an identity, but i have reworded it slightly to hopefully make it more inclusive, the definition is still the same and it was originally created by Catherine Kincaid. Futurelink is my own coined term.
Futurekin is someone who believes they will become a nonhuman creature in their next life through reincarnation or other personal beliefs. They may experience shifts, dreams/visions, and other indicators of their next life. Futurekin can have multiple futuretypes, such as knowing which creatures you will be multiple lives ahead, or not truly being sure exactly which creature you will be reborn as and therefore having multiple futuretypes, ect.
They may identify as this creature in this life on top of being Futurekin, or they may not.
Example terminology: FutureWolfkin
Futurelink is someone who believes that they can choose which nonhuman creature they will be reborn as through reincarnation or other personal beliefs. They may experience shifts, dreams/visions, and other indicators of their next life. Futurelinkers can have multiple futurelinks, such as choosing which creatures you will be multiple lives ahead, ect.
They may identify as this creature in this life on top of being Futurelink, or they may not.
