We didn’t get to try the Pingxi line (I didn’t realize it was a circuit!), just Jiufen then Houtong via TRA but not before we accidentally boarded a train that dropped us at Jiaoxi lol. Navigating the shops and alleys Jiufen through a fog sounds fun, actually, apart from the rain. Glad your parents were game to go exploring in spite of the weather. XD

Thank you. It’s done. I’ve cut it off the loom and wet-finished it. I need to find time to iron and photograph it though. The loom has just been rewarped for a new alpaca blend scarf. A new scarf for the new year!
