Summary: Aziraphale has been working at the same company, in the same position for the past 15 years. It's not the best job, oftentimes made worse by his incompetent boss breathing down his neck, but Aziraphale does it, and does it well. He's comfortable.

Unfortunately for Aziraphale there is about to be a big shake up at work heralded by the arrival of a handsome stranger from America. Soon Aziraphale is caught up in situations he never dreamed of that make him question his own morality.

everything lost Good Omens, Rape/Noncon, explicit, ~33k words, MIND THE TAGS Established & Developing Aziraphale/Crowley, Past Abusive Gabriel/Aziraphale, One-Sided Gabriel/Aziraphale For two-thousand years, Aziraphale was sexually harassed and assaulted by the Director of Heavenly Operations. Years after Aziraphale and Crowley break free from Heaven and Hell entirely, Gabriel shows up on Aziraphale's front step with no clothes, no memories, no divine powers, and an inexplicable, unshakeable attachment to Aziraphale. Old and new trauma alike plague Aziraphale as he struggles to get rid of Gabriel without bringing the wrath of Heaven down on him and Crowley both.

So I saw the first s2 trailer the day it dropped, and this dark!Gabriel plot bunny was born and wrote itself in record time. Other than using further promotional materials to try and find Shax and Gabriel's voices, I have not used any further s2 content (the full list of things I tinkered with is in the author's notes of the linked fic)

I have not seen any advanced screenings for S2; any further similarities are entirely coincidental.

Please don't spoil anything in the comments for me until August 10th so I have time to enjoy the season after its release <3

Metatron’s baritone boomed sombrely across the aether. 

“Where is your brother? I can't feel his essence.” 

Gabriel swallowed and tried taking a step back, but there was nowhere to go; he was the reluctant centrepiece in a circle of raised eyebrows.

“And don’t tell me you’re not his keeper. Others have tried that before.”

Gabriel looked around the inescapable ring of cold, judging eyes, mirroring the chill in his own chest.

“I--”

“What have you done to Aziraphale?” Michael held a white quill and a notepad in her hands. “Why won’t he regain consciousness?”
