For my @fanartfrenzy bingo square of "create art for a fic in your first fandom," I did a drawing inspired by a recent fic in my first (and forever) fandom, Animorphs.
In a great unceasing noise is undeniable by @joysweeper, a recently crashed, disabled, and struggling Mertil and Gafinilan debate what to do about Ax's mirror-wave call in book 4. The images of them struggling with their disabilities in the fic were vivid, so I decided to draw them in the Andalite truth style.
I inked the drawing with a fountain pen inked with Diamine Polar Glow, a sheening ink, which is why Mertil and Gafinilan are part dark blue and part red.
the andalites
how ii see them anyways😭
Gafinilan was ment to be blue I couldn't turn him back😭
This was no—vecol. This guy was massive. Bigger than any Andalite I’d ever seen. Bigger than Ax’s brother, War Prince Elfangor-Sirinial-Shamtul. Bigger than Aloth-Attamil-Gahar. Bigger even than Alloran-Semitur-Corrass, host body to Visser Three.
I do not buy that Marco remembered all those Andalites' full names, he clearly had to ask Ax before writing this part.
Happy birthday to @tikki-fuck-off! This piece was commissioned by @decademic! :) Have a great birthday!!!
hands u a buff andalite... as a treat
I found my sketch of Gafinilan, which I apparently never posted here, and decided to color it. So, here it is!
