Seerow
As I'm reading through the Hork Bajir Chronicles, there's something that stood out to me about Seerow. The fact that his crime is called Seerow's Kindness is a bit ironic. As he's with the Hork Bajir, he is miserable. Possibly the kindest species out there, but because they're not intelligent, he's not interested, and he's unwilling to interact with Dak because while Dak is incredibly intelligent, he was raised in a simpler society and needs to be taught all the new concepts he didn't know. Seerow may have shared his knowledge with the Yeerks, but he's just as arrogant as other andalites in a different way. He is only interested in intelligence because the Yeerks are smart, he is also unwilling to see them as enemies. I don't know how coherent that was, but it was interesting to think about as I was reading.
I also wonder if KA Applegate had some thoughts on how men and women handle change, as Aldrea and her mother thrive in the new environment, but her brother and father wilt.
Just some thoughts :D
