I’m a Starkiller, baby. ✨💥 Late to the #galacticcovengala bc I was pre-gaming at Hosnian Prime. (Too soon?) 📸 @catherine 💫💫💫 I bought this vintage dress a few months ago & it reminded me of the First Order emblem. This eventually evolved into a Starkiller Base-inspired look. One red eye for the cannon of the super laser and a shattered trail of sparkle for the trench scarring what was once the kyber crystal planet of Ilum. ✨✨✨ THANK YOU to everyone who responded to my inquiries (small shops, creators, fellow fans), everyone who engaged with @galactic_coven content/ used our hashtags, & people who spread the word. Happy @galactic_coven Canto Bight Gala! I couldn’t resist doing a Disneybound for this event and I’ve recently been rewatching Star Wars: the clone wars series (and catching all the episodes I missed before) and I completely fell in love with Cad Bane. He is prime Star Wars bad boy. One nitpick about my pictures is with this lightning you can’t tell my dress is blue like Cad Banes’s skin! Sometimes, you just have to let the Wookiee win. One of the wildest things that happened to us on Saturday was our encounter with Chewbacca. The Resistance mistook us for Sithtroopers (fine, that’s fair) & Chewie arrested @ravenzahara, walking her out past the Black Spire marketplace. We followed bc we thought he was literally going to escort her off-planet, but instead we ALL got put into time-out. It worked out after we swore our loyalty to the Resistance & all was forgiven. But seriously, don’t let Chewie see red!! He WILL get mad about it.
