Hey Dan!!! I’m so sorry it’s taken me so long to answer this!

6: do you have any ships?

I ship the typical canon ships like Anidala and such, but I also ship Gallirae (Gallius Rax and Rae Sloane) (I’m more of a family-friend relationship oriented person so I don’t have lots of ships!)

13: would you want to be a force user?

Yes, but not a Jedi :( I couldn’t deal with the pressures (perhaps I’d pull an Ahsoka and leave the order.)

17: how were you introduced to the fandom?

I’ve been a Star Wars fan since I was a tot, but I was introduced to the online fandom when I was around nine/ten. (I’ve been reading fanfic for a long time aha.)

What do you mean to tell me there isn’t a Gallirae beauty and the beast AU by now? Does nobody see the potential that screams?

Sloane is hella clever, she’s beautiful, she’s often looked over or down upon by the others in the Empire.

Rax is an outcast, a ‘lowlife’, he’s used, and thus forth he takes it out on the people around him.

Let Rae fix the broken/tragic monster 🙃

the most questionable thing about gallirae is that they are the two imperials who want to hatebang the Most and who flirt before mortal combat and who have a disaster sugar baby third wheel, but they’re like the rarest imperial pair of all time

COSIGNED because I don’t really get why the Star Wars fandom never really picked up on Rae Sloane and Gallius Rax.

I think as far as villain-shipping goes, both characters are above average complexity for a Star Wars novel + you get way more ~tense scenes~ and symbolism and snarly-shooting-finger-breaking drama than most villain-to-villain interactions, and yet…

And yet not much people give them attention. Generally the Aftermath books don’t get talked about so much, which is a darn shame for many small details that are enjoyable in it.

But yeah, Rae x Rax is definitely one of my biggest ships.
