At Mr E's Game World booth at Historicon, 2026: Lots of old Avalon Hill games, some from Milton Bradley's Gamemaster Series (Fortress America, Samurai Swords, and the original Shogun box under the table), and their American Heritage series (Battle Cry, Dogfight, Skirmish, plus Broadside down below), and Ideal's official Combat! board game from the TV show. I remember the Bermuda Triangle game being advertised a lot, but King Oil was new to me, a game with a creative mechanic for oil exploration and drilling that uses 3 disks below the board that are turned before the game to create a 4-layer puzzle of holes with over 1000 possible combinations representing drilling sites.
My first convention!!!
I went to a convention for the first time today! Wore my Princess Peach costume I made
The nintendo people were amazing and were so fun and called me the princess and I had so much fun
Played some super smash bros, mario kart world, some indie demos, and all sorts of stuff
Tried risk of rain 2 for the first time as well
I played as the railgunner cause they looked coolest
Tried the commando one but went back to railgunner
In the 30 minutes I played I found the teleporter twice and died to the boss

Sooooo, went to another comiccon today (◕ᴗ◕✿)
Actually didn't spend all that much money today, yippee!!!! ✧\(>w<)ﾉ✧
I went in my Funtime Freddy cosplay, and my sis was my Security guard, Cinnamon Toast! (She didn't want to become cinnamon toast CRUNCH, though)
We also saw a bunch of other cool cosplayers, like Mira, TWO Nanami's, like, 4 Tenna's, about 17 Hatsune Miku's (at every one I told my sis 'is that Hatsune Miku??' because I must reference obscure stuff at every opportunity.)
Lots of people also complimented my costume which was PAWSOME!!!!
Still got a good haul of stuff!!
An MHA blind bag with a bunch of cool stuff, a black Butler pokemon card made of metal, a cute Mira pin, and my fav, a Maomao keychain!!!! I wore her on one of my belt loops the whole day!!
Still got a costume contest later today I'm participating in!! Wish me luck everybunny!!
