With these lyircs, Zero Two kinda reminds me of Teneber. (the main villain of Starbourne)

Obviously not in appearance, but in goals, abilities, and motives.

Zero (and by extension Zero Two) wanted to destroy the universe because it was lonely and couldn't understand love. Though Teneber fits this more in a "male loneliness epidemic" way.

Both Zero and Teneber have Biblical references to Darkness being evil. They both create creatures made of Dark Matter. (The Dark Matters and the Darklings)

They both use it/he pronouns... not exactly a big deal other than those pronouns are generally used for dark gods or something. IDK if I'm cooking here or whatever.

I'm sure there's also some things I'm forgetting about Zero but it has been a few years since I last played Kirby 64. Also, I came up with Teneber before having played Kirby 64 and definitely before having listened to this cover.

Now onto the lyrics, in case the video won't load or you still have enough hope that a YT boycott might actually work. In parentheses I will note any similarities to Starbourne.

We were once living quietly

But our future has changed for the worst (Luderia was a kingdom of dreams, similar to Dream Land, but since this is Ribbon's POV I guess maybe Feria would be better? Because fairy princess?)

As the sky darkens

Becoming blacker than shadows (Teneber makes his presence known by snuffing out stars and depriving their surrounding planets of sunlight.)

What could be the cause of all this

Twisting their minds Twisting their souls (Teneber can possess anyone or create Darklings to do so, and force them to do his evil bidding)

Now everyone is corrupted

Their behavior now destructive (see above)

I must search for those crystal shards

even if the task may be hard (OK the Aurora Hearts are not broken, but they are parts of a whole, so "shards" might be a stretch but it could work? They are Lana's charge for sure, with her being a descendant of Aurora)

I'll make sure that you will all see

as I set our universe free (Lana's ultimate desire is to disband all kingdoms including her own and let everyone be free to do whatever they wish that brings no harm to others... this is very naive of her but not like, idiotic or anything. It's a goal she actively works for and knows the price of achieving and maintaining it.)

with the crystal powers

that were once completely scattered (THIS time, the Hearts don't have to be broken to fit the lyric)

it will be the very key to

destroying each and every dark matter (The Darklings are MADE of Dark Matter, so even if they are not called Dark Matters, this kinda still fits)

Destiny calls for you

to fly on forward, star warrior (Lana sending her message out to Simon and Theodore... if Lana were the Ribbon of Starbourne, I guess Theodore would be the Kirby, despite not being the protagonist?)

find the inner strength within you

bring an end to all the torture (The lyric in the video's subtitles was confirmed to be inaccurate by the singer so I fixed it here.)

let the stars guide you through

to stop this never-ending war (This war has gone on for over two thousand years... the one in Kirby would have been billions.)

or there might be a chance

our universe will be

No more, (this is a threat the heroes of Starbourne are constantly fighting against)

please go,

restore,

our world (The "restoration" is up to Stella and her crew from her generation... not sure if that will be important in this analysis though)

(The second half of the song would be from Stella's perspective, she is the Messiah but she cannot save the universe alone.)

Angels of darkness take flight (This one is actually not about Teneber in this instance, but about the literal Angels... Though they oppose the demons, they're just as tyrannical. They too are enemies of our little crew, with very few exceptions)

And I'm the only one left to fight (Each hero has to face the Darkness alone at one point in the story... Stella is the only one to do it more than once)

Our worlds are falling

As they're engulfed in the shadows (Grammatical error in lyrics fixed, but also, more of Teneber devouring the worlds)

Their cries are fading from darkness

Drowning in it

Consumed by it (Stella fears she cannot save everyone... the worst part is that she's right.)

There is no more time to be scared

The pain ends now I am prepared (Stella must face her own self-doubt and battle the demon within)

I'll go forward with all our strength

I'll make you see your end of days (The End of Days is a point in spacetime where all universes intersect and any matter present in it is unaffected by linear time... but the term is also used as a euphemism for death just like in the song)

I'll make sure our hopes aren't shattered

pierce the evils you have gathered (All of Stella's friends and loved ones have turned against her due to Teneber's influence. She has nobody but herself to trust... but she keeps holding on)

even if I'm devoured

in this darkness that you've become

just as long as there's an inch of light in me

I will overcome (Stella reminds herself of the love she is fighting for, that little spark in the hearts of her people... she knows she can't do this alone, but she also knows she is never alone)

Do not fear now the time is now

to destroy the evil

this is the only chance you have

everything is up to you now (Stella gives her life to aid her friends in the battle, breaking them free of the Darkness)

use the power inside you

and bring peace once and for all

or our future will be no more

go now and fight star warrior! (Again I still feel like maybe there would be multiple "star warriors" in Starbourne... but if there were only one, Stella might be singing to Lucian, the one who raised her, but it's like, a past version of Lucian from before she was born)

So stop this war

Protect our world! (This part could be to everyone, IDK)

If you don't know GaMetal yet, let me tell you, I'm jealous. Because you'll be discovering him by today and you'll get the joy of finding a real good gem.

GaMetal is what you might think: videogame music covers but with the good ol guitar riffs, fast drums, bass and more elements to translate this tunes into the metal genre. All played separately and remixed by the same man.

Althought he's already pretty well known around Youtube, I believe Jonny deserves all the fan love he gets and more. He's been working hard and nonstop since... I was a young intern at a big company. That was probably 10 years ago.

Well, no, actually, he has been covering game music since 2011.

Seriously, this guy released last month the best cover of "Necrofantasia" in history [here's the link to both that and a mash-up I made between GaMetal's cover and its original song: https://www.tumblr.com/mashounen2003/770602520162746368], and now he releases this cover of the Nebula Gray final boss theme from Mega Man Battle Network 5. Just... wow.
