Trying desperately not to jump around too much and get this fic out bc I’m so fuckin into it rn in BKS like a future chapter (before the Gala shooting maybe?) with Danny Caught ip in a Scarecrow gas attack and just not seeming affected but someone finds him later in his room curled in a corner muttering to himself the third chorus of “it’s Alright” by Mother Mother.

Confusion and heartbreak at learning this sunshine childs; that came crashing into their lives, worst nightmare is himself??

Also maybe Clark and Jon drop by for a reason and Danny walks in and just looks vaguely unimpressed (fair Clark is just a normal dude obvs) and is like “hey call your son you jackass.” Snarky but affectionate???

Everyone’s baffled as Fuck when Clark looks sheepish and nods with just a “nice to see you again too Danny.” And Jon tackles him like “Uncle D!!”

Bruce is both confused and furious Clark knows about his Son being a ghost hero apparently??? When he finds out.

About tanaka , I think he stayed by real ciel side because he wanted to kill him himself, Tanaka now waits until he gets the right chance to get rid of him himself because I think Tanaka shares Smile's view of the real Ciel that he's just a corpse that has to die at some point but Tanaka doesn't want Smile to bear the guilt of killing his brother, so he will carry it instead of him and get rid of rciel himself. I think Tanaka thought of all this even before Smile himself thought of it. He is one of the smartest characters in the manga after all . What do you think?

Would Tanaka destroy real Ciel himself?

I highly doubt it. Mostly because it completely goes against his parallel in my Mother3 theory, where he's Leder, the Tazmily Village lamplighter. Leder never really takes action himself. He's a vessel of memories/information. He knows things and his sole purpose is to give important information to Lucas when he feels the time is right.

Tanaka's already the one who recalls the birth of the twins and reveals the truth of it, how it was a surprise to everyone, etc.

I expect Tanaka's cover for serving real Ciel is because he's the firstborn of the twins... but I suspect he's really there to gather information and report back to our earl. About things like real Ciel's weaknesses, for example.

But destroying real Ciel himself might seem like stealing that opportunity away from the younger brother. He might even hold out hope that real Ciel can be somehow "fixed", and he's not the sort to jump to conclusions and act on his own. Imagine if he destroyed real Ciel only to find out that our earl wanted to do that himself? Or only to find out that our earl and Sebastian found a "cure"?

So, he should be holding out not for the right chance to "kill" the kid himself... but the chance to gather as much useful information as possible.

I am preparing a documentary proposal for one of my classes on the idea of nature vs. nurture in our connections to personal family histories. More specifically, what is it that makes us feel such an attachment to a country or culture that we may have never even visited?

If you are first-, second-, eighth-, or whatever-generation, living in a different country than the one your parents emigrated from, I would really appreciate you answering a few questions for my research! You can submit your answers anonymously or publicly, through my ask box or messaging system.

Questions are: Where do you live? What country or countries is your family originally from? Which branch of your family is from each place? Which part of your heritage do you feel the most connected to? Why? Have you ever visited the country you’re told you are from? What was that like?

I am not required to make this documentary for the class, only pitch it, so you will not be asked to get involved beyond your written answers to these questions.

So, for anyone who wasn’t aware of this and I have @talechaser-ffxiv to thank for this information but you can now set ALARMS in-game to track down those pesky Timed nodes so long as you have gathered them in the past.

@kiyi-ghale - Essentially you go to your Gathering log and find the node that you are looking for and then (I am a PS4 user so I just press Square to open up my subcommands) you pretty much set the timer and go. If I recall you can have it on repeat and you can do this for multiple things at once. No doubt Talechaser will reblog and add to this if I forgot anything <3
