verity's s/o bringing her breakfast after an all-nighter

usually, verity's job doesn't get her to pull all nighters. she works during the day and at night she's all yours

but when a case really grabs her, she might do some extra digging and research, to truly grasp the situation, even if that's not part of her job

it's on one of those nights that she stays awake and reads through old case files, while you're in bed, sleeping soundly, unaware that your girlfriend is overworking herself

only once you wake up early the next morning do you realize verity never made it to bed. and as you enter her office, you realize she's still sitting there, twenty different files open on her desk, as she skips between them

quietly, you disappear again, not wanting to disturb her. instead, you head to the kitchen, making her a coffee and some breakfast, before returning to her office

verity only notices you as you place the plate and cup on her desk, flinching surprised, before a smile hushes over her lips

“you're the best” she mumbles, pressing a kiss onto your cheek, before heading right back to work

you know not to disturb her when she's working, as she can get lost in her work, but once she finishes it all, verity will absolutely pay you back for your act of kindness!

If you're looking for a challenge, it's probably best to avoid the Teeceegees. Not that they're bad, they're just a bit...irritating. Everything is a duel, everything is a challenge, everything is a bit too huge for them. Thankfully Nixels are an easy opponent to them. Cubito is the driven leader of the team. With a set of special cards that can summon baby Mixeloptors from her chest compartment, she's sure that she's the strongest and toughest there is! Unfortunately, they ARE babies, and babies really aren't known for good abilities. Stikkid is the naughty one of the group. Being flat means he can sneak around, pull pranks, and revel in gross things. One of his favorite things to do is mess up labels of real things to twisted parodies. Because who would eat a box that "Pukeyronis", even if it was just filled with normal Cookironis? Blyba is the quiet and shy member. Keeping herself hidden, her abilities let her break into a pocket dimension in her concealed hand, which can launch out...pretty much anything. Unfortunately, she has know idea what object will be launched out. Their Max is a giant creature with all of their abilities. Their habitat is their trading card game store.

Claiming to be from an alternate dimension where Nixels successfully took over, it's hard to tell if the Skavvengerz are telling the truth or not. While their muted colors seem to tell the truth, they seem a bit too acquainted with "this timeline" to be true. Forummage is the intrepid leader of the tribe. His goal is to find the best materials to help his tribe survive from the scraps, even if it's entirely unneeded. Naturally, he gets a lot of weird looks from other Mixels that are normally living out their lives. Grablin is so teched out that it's hard to tell what are actual artificial limbs and what are just costume. Despite her clunky appearance, she's the true brains of the tribe, knowing how to better act in this society, while also being the better jury-rig member as well. Punkalypse has decided to just go all full-out with his abilities and just rebel. Loud, brash, obnoxious, and mostly unhelpful, he's the annoyance of the group. However, despite this, he's the one that can blend in the easiest with the other Mixels...namely the riff-raff of Mixopolis. Their Max is a gremlin-like creature. Their habitat is a bunker on the outskirts of Mixopolis.

Taking the fair route and working with the MCPD, the Judgers are the ones that make the final say on arguments. Most of the time the cases they take are...pretty petty, though. Gavelle is the strict and serious leader of the tribe. With a gavel hammer for a tail, she's quick to demand order, which often leads to her screaming for it. Her tail also makes a handy weapon against Nixels. And no, that isn't a wig. Balice prefers to see both sides of the matter before making any sort of judgement. She feels each side has a point that needs to be pondered on. And pondered on. To be honest, she really just can't make up her mind and is using that as a cover. Lawler has pure charisma on his side. When clients lack the Mucks for a personal lawyer, he's hired out for them. There's some pretty-true rumors that he's a Medix chaser, though. And don't believe him when he says his hair isn't a wig. Their Max is a giant creature with their abilities. Their habitat is their courtroom.

verity loves you, but she can't help but realize just how clingy you are! even after a few hours in court, you already start to miss her and rush to her right after the trial

she's very strict, even when it comes to the person she's dating, so she'll insist that any displays of affection have to wait until the two of you are fully alone!

she'll have you wait until everyone left the courtroom, before she'll allow you to finally hug and kiss her!

but by that time, you're already so needy that just one kiss won't be enough and you'll start to pepper your girlfriend's face with kisses

verity can't hide the fact that she thinks it's cute when you get so affectionate! but if you ever push things too far, she'll remind you that this is a place of the goddess and that it wouldn't be proper to escalate things!

you'll never be able to change her mind about that, so anything that exceeds kissing is off the table, but verity loves you enough to at least allow you those after trial make out sessions with her…
