can u write smth abt being friends with the princess while secretly dating gavi?
Hmm... That is an interesting plot tbh.
Not a very easy topic to write on, but I hope you like it :D
Part 1...
"Pablo fucking Gavi?!"
I cough a little, choking on my saliva the moment Queen Letizia made her announcement. Sophia, the infanta of Spain quickly elbowed me in the gut. "I-I mean... Uh, Pablo Gavi? Your highness..." I quickly bow to her, apology lacing my tone for the disrespectful, foul language I just used.
"If this were the 80s, I'd have had you beheaded." Leonor, my friend glares at me. "Relax, she's just kidding." Sophia simply chuckles at my expression. "Besides, she doesn't even have the power to do so yet anyway." She adds. "And also, we don't really behead teenagers for cursing every once in a while." Their mother sighs.
"And with you gone, who'd even design such killer outfits for us all?!" Leonor chuckles. Yep, that's actually how I met her and her family. Rather silly actually, but that one meeting changed my entire life. I moved here all the way from Y/O/P in order to pursue fashion designing. And kinda started out in Seville in a small boutique.
Cornered by the press, Leonor and her sister, Sophia, barged into my shops outta all the dozens of shops around it, all because it was completely empty. While hiding, they couldn't help but notice all the kinda of clothes, and the designs I drew in my book, and instantly fell in love.
A week later, the royal family of Spain helped me establish my business, and now, believe it or not, I was the private fashion designer of the royalty. In fact, my designs were so popular amongst the royals from all over the world, that I was even offered millions of pounds to move to England.
But I turned down because my life had already been set here. I had the bestest of friends around, the most amazing boyfriend I could ask for, and business was booming! Sure, I missed home a lot too, but I do visit my family during vacations. The only problem now was my relationship status with my boyfriend.
Being extremely private people, who absolutely hated being bombarded by the paparazzi, and crazy fans all the time, we mutually agreed to keep our relationship a secret to prevent further drama. A very wise decision there, no doubt... But unlike the members of FC Barcelona, I just couldn't let my friends find out about this.
Not because I don't trust them or anything... It's just, if they know, their staff knows. And most of the times, it's the staff members through which all the rumors start. Especially if they're bribed by the media to leak out certain, harmless little secrets. It's kinda how we know that Leonor has a crush on Gavi.
Oh yeah, that's another problem too.
I can't let her find out about this... She'd be so hurt! Not only because I, Y/N L/N, her best fucking friend, was dating her crush, but also because I never told her about this in the past. Yep, I'm so screwed. Getting beheaded really doesn't sound that bad anymore to be honest. I might as well just take upon that offer right now.
"Y/N!" I was snapped back to reality by Sophia waving her hand in front of my face. "You zoned out again, didn't you?" She sighs. "Sorry..." I mumble. "That's okay. Madre only told us that the entire Spanish football team is coming over for a celebratory dinner tonight to celebrate their qualifications for the upcoming world cup (2026)." Leonor informs.
"Oh, they made it?" I grin, excited for Pablo. "Yeah, we were notified this morning." She nods. "I am so proud of señor Gavi!" She then beams. "Oh great, here we go again." Her sister rolls her eyes, leaving the room, tired of Leonor's massive crush on him. "You know, I've heard he's still not seeing anyone." Leonor turns to me.
"Maybe he's just waiting for a certain princess to ask him out." She smirks, doing a little curtsey, making me laugh. She wasn't wrong there. He does like going out a lot. Just with a different kind of princess. "Ooo! Help me pick out a dress of two, will ya, Y/N?" She then requests. "Course..." I mumble, following her to her dressing room.
"Are you sure you don't wanna wear one of my dresses that you designed for me?" Leonor asks one last time as we were on our way downstairs to greet the team that had just arrived. "Of course. The spotlight's supposed to be on you anyway." I shrug. "Not like I'd be able to carry the dresses as well as any of you can anyway." I add.
Once we reached downstairs, we were received by the proud, grinning faces of all the footballers that made it here. I smile politely at them all, but of course none of them noticed me. None of them except Pedri and Ansu, who were both good friends of mine. But obviously, the first person I noticed there happened to be staring right back at me, clearly as surprised to see me, as I was to see him.
Pablo fucking Gavi...
