Simply not long enough! Which is ironic considering the title. I might be biased, but this was a big 5 star for me. I can't wait to see this adapted to TV (there will be a season 2 right??)

And Ilya is my banter king. Although he has an unfair advantage being an ESL speaker, as it just makes everything he does even funnier.

I am a slut for Ilya/Shane, I don't even care if I am biased.

Although I will always think their books are too smut filled- I feel that they still have purpose, in that they often use it to hide away from deeper topics and conflicts instead of facing them, which shows a lot about their relationship.. I just feel like it could be more closed door?

Compared to the other GC books, they are way smuttier - which I feel like does their story a disservice. Not that smutty books can't have good story! I just feel like the GC universe showed that this author doesn't necessarily need/want all the smut. So I don't see why it has to change so much with Ilya and Shane. Does that make sense? Maybe I am just being a prude and my analysis is totally subjective!

I am so pissed for Shane though. And that he didn't get to resolve the issues with Montreal. THEY FUCKING OWE HIM EVERYTHING. And the fact that even JJ accused him of shit. I wouldn't have forgiven him.

He and the others basically proved why Shane should've been hiding it for so long! Imagine all this same bullshit, but they don't have time on their side. A one or two year relationship? Could've threw the game. TEN YEARS? AND NEVER GOING EASY ON EACH OTHER? THE PROOF IS RIGHT THERE.
