From 6:00 pm to almost midnight, GCR rucked 15 miles with GORUCK challenge weight... AND A COOLER!! We all took turns carrying the loaded cooler, two by two, all the way! We made several trips up and down Riverside trails between 51st & 96th. The sweet spot was definitely Margaritanille behind Riverspirit Casino. True to their word, the patio and the restrooms were open to the public and were definitely needed for rest on the way down and back up the trail. That sucked. I knew it was going to. But it did WAY worse than I expected. For those of you who know, it was 2017 OKC Tough BAD for me. ... AND I LED THIS ONE!!! LOL The sand training really kicked my ass. My heart rate was through the roof, just like OKC last year. That worries me, but no longer scares me.
